Two pregnant ladies conceived infants in the hedge on Sunday morning while escaping from suspected Boko Haram guerillas that assaulted Gunti Gumi town of Alkaleri Local Government region in Bauchi state. An eye witness,Malam Bala Kurba,told theNews Agency of Nigeria (NAN)that the extremists raged the town, compelling the inhabitants to take to their heels. “The pregnant ladies were among the individuals who fled the town. I was additionally in the shrubbery when I saw a gathering of ladies doing combating to help the two pregnant ladies convey their infants. The ladies conceived an offspring effectively and were taken to an adjacent group, where they were kept,” said Kurba,who is the Manager of the Bauchi State government-claimed Community FM Radio station in Alkaleri. Bauchi Police Command’s spokesperson,Haruna Mohammed,confirmed the assault in an announcement issued on Sunday.
