Ernest, who is from Edo State and an alum of the University of Benin, was presented on Cross River State in October, where he met and went gaga for Chioma, and both were serving in Redemption Secondary School, Ofombogha 1 in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross Rivers State.
Mr. Noah Ntuen, Acting Divisional Police Officer for Obubra told Vanguard on telephone: “The young lady had told the fellow that she would not wed him, but rather that they could be companions. So when she returned from home a weekend ago and demonstrated to him the ring her spouse to-be gave her, the young fellow got to be angry. “On Wednesday, the circumstance turned out to be more regrettable and at around 7pm, he secured himself in the room and took some noxious substances.” A source in the school told Vanguard: “They met at the NYSC Orientation Camp at Abrekpe-Ebokpo and as if the gods were in a comical mood, they were both presented on the same school where they had a relationship going. “He had the trust the entire thing would end in marriage, however Chioma as of now had someone else she needs to wed.”
Ntuen said the body had been stored in the funeral home of Obubra General Hospital, while Chioma is with the police, where examinations on the circumstances encompassing the disastrous passing are in advancement
